Bomcomes (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) values the protection of information subjects' personal information and is committed to ensuring that the personal information provided to the Company online while using the ‘Bom Calendar’ service (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”) is protected.

Accordingly, the Company complies with the personal information protection regulations under relevant laws such as the “Personal Information Protection Act”, “Protection of Communications Secrets Act”, “Telecommunications Business Act”, and “Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc.”

The Company informs you of the purposes and methods for which the personal information provided by the information subject is being used and what measures are being taken to protect personal information through this Privacy Policy.

Furthermore, the Company ensures that information subjects can easily view the policy at any time by disclosing it on the notices and terms of service screens within the Service.

The Company’s Privacy Policy may be changed from time to time due to changes in government laws and guidelines or the Company’s internal policies, and necessary procedures are established for continuous improvement of the Privacy Policy. In the event of an amendment, the Company will notify the change through site notices at least 7 days prior to the enforcement date, assigning a version number and revision date so that information subjects can easily recognize the revised matters.

01. Consent to Collection of Personal Information

The Company provides a procedure where information subjects can click the “Agree” or “Cancel” button or check a checkbox regarding the contents of the Privacy Policy, the consent to collection of personal information, or the Terms of Service. Clicking the “Agree” button or checking the checkbox is considered consent to the collection of personal information.

02. Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Information

"Personal information" refers to information about a living individual that makes it possible to identify the individual through name, resident registration number, images, etc. (including information that can be easily combined with other information to identify a specific individual) in accordance with Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Personal Information Protection Act. The Company does not disclose users' personal information without prior consent and uses the collected information as follows :

  • ① Confirmation of intent to join, user identification, confirmation of intent to withdraw, and other member management activities.
  • ② Delivery of promised services, identity verification for service provision, handling and replying to inquiries or complaints, and sending notices.
  • ③ Restrictions against members who violate laws and terms of use, prevention and sanctions against acts that interfere with the smooth operation of the service including unauthorized use, account theft and fraudulent transaction prevention, preservation of records for dispute resolution, and other user protection and service operation.
  • ④ New service development and customized service provision, service provision and advertising based on demographic characteristics, analysis of service usage records, and other service improvement.
  • ⑤ Providing event information and participation opportunities, providing advertising information, and other marketing and promotion (Only for information subjects who have consented. You may refuse consent; however, please be informed that you may not receive information about new services or events.)

※ When using the community service, information generated from activities such as writing posts and comments is used for providing community functions, communication between users, and operational management.

② The following information may be automatically generated and collected during the service use or business processing :

- Name, Phone number, Address, Email, and other identification information.

④ If additional items are collected based on the collection path, separate notice and consent will be obtained on the corresponding screen.

B. Methods of Collection

The Company collects personal information through the following methods and does not disclose it without prior consent :

- Through the use of 'Bom Calendar' services, event entries, etc.

04. Retention and Usage Period of Personal Information

The Company retains personal information during the period the information subject uses the services provided by the Company, until membership withdrawal is requested or consent is withdrawn.

However, if a member directly requests withdrawal according to the procedures in Section 06, the data will be completely deleted from the disk using non-reproducible methods, making it impossible to access or use in the future. (Posts and comments created through the community feature are stored separately from personal information and may remain within the service even after withdrawal.)

Personal information collected for temporary purposes (surveys, events, identity verification, etc.) will be processed in the same way so that it cannot be reproduced once the purpose is achieved.

Additionally, if retention is required by relevant laws such as the "Commercial Act" or the "Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce," the Company will store the information for the period prescribed by law as follows :

05. Sharing and Provision of Personal Information

The Company uses personal information only within the scope notified in Section 02 and does not provide it to third parties without prior consent. Exceptions are made in the following cases :

  • - When necessary for fee settlement following service provision.
  • - In case of violation of the Terms of Service or operating principles.
  • - When there is sufficient evidence for legal action against a person who has caused mental or material harm to others by using the Service.
  • - When judged in good faith that it is required by laws (e.g., requests from government/investigation agencies through legal procedures in accordance with relevant laws).
  • - When the user has consented in advance for the use of the service.

06. Management of Personal Information by the Subject

1. Information subjects may exercise the following rights at any time :

① Request for access to personal information, ② Request for correction of errors, ③ Request for deletion, ④ Request for suspension of processing.

2. The exercise of rights mentioned in Paragraph 1 can be performed through the in-app Customer Center or by emailing help@bomcomes.com, and the Company will take action without delay.

3. If the information subject requests correction or deletion of errors, the Company will not use or provide the personal information until the correction or deletion is completed.

4. The exercise of rights may be performed through a legal representative or a person who has received power of attorney. In this case, a power of attorney according to Form 11 of the Enforcement Rules of the Personal Information Protection Act must be submitted.

5. Information subjects must not violate relevant laws such as the Personal Information Protection Act to infringe upon the personal information or privacy of themselves or others handled by the Company.

6. Information subjects may withdraw consent for the collection and use of personal information at any time through 'Member Withdrawal' or similar procedures.

07. Installation, Operation, and Refusal of Automatic Collection Devices

A. Operation of Cookies

The Company uses 'Cookies' to provide specialized customized services. Cookies identify the attributes of the information subject's device but do not personally identify the individual.

  • - Purpose : Analyzing visit patterns and security to provide optimized information.
  • - Settings : Users can choose to allow all cookies, go through a confirmation process, or refuse all cookies via browser settings (e.g., Internet Explorer : Tools > Internet Options > Privacy).

B. Behavioral and Marketing Analysis

'Bom Calendar' may collect the user's ADID/IDFA for customized services and advertising measurements. You can opt-out in your device settings (Android : Google > Ads / iOS : Privacy > Apple Advertising).

08. Destruction Procedures and Methods

Personal information is destroyed immediately after the purpose is achieved. However, records of fraudulent use are kept for up to 1 year for prevention purposes.

Electronic files are deleted using technical methods that prevent restoration, and paper documents are shredded or incinerated.

09. Technical and Administrative Protection Measures

The Company implements security measures to prevent loss, theft, leakage, or alteration of personal information, including internal management plans, access controls, and encryption of personal information.

10. Entrustment of Personal Information

Currently, there are no items for the entrustment of personal information to external parties.
